Description: This article examined the evolution and turnover of adaptive alleles in clonal lineages of wild Daphnia pulex. This was my first Daphnia article and was a side-project that stemmed into the first chapter of my dissertation.

Description: This article was a revaluation of species classification using a very common statistic called average nucleotide identity (ANI) on over 90,000 eukaryotic microbe genomes. This was my first article and a side-project finished within the Wu lab at UVA during my first-year rotation.
